Health & Safety in the Cleaning Industry

We are a responsible employer, and train all staff to follow safe working procedures and have gained accreditation / membership and/or  adhere to:

Our cleaning operatives are not only expected to adhere to Health and Safety training but undertake a minimum of two days training as part of our induction process.

Site-based managers, commercial staff and directors have all taken an additional four-day Red Cross First Aid at Work course.

Management Team

Simon Gasson established So Clean in 1994. Today he draws on his years of experience in the industry to sustain high company standards and support the training and development of his staff. Simon oversees operations and is responsible for client liaison across the company portfolio.

Simon introduced his brother Nicholas to the company in 1996; after gaining experience and product knowledge as an operative and supervisor, he became a partner in the business. Alongside his operational responsibilities, Nick controls finance and purchasing for the company. A county athlete himself, he also looks after our sports sponsorship activities with Blackheath & Bromley Harriers.

Working Environment

Along with 3300 other companies in the UK, we are now accredited living wage employer. There is no doubt this stiffens our resolve when it comes to negotiating new business and when we do hold annual reviews with clients in the Low Paid sectors, it at least means we are talking from a position of strength.

Covering the Southeast Region

Our Head Office is based in Kent however we are one of the primary commercial cleaning contractors working in the city of London. We provide businesses with 24/7 cleaning solutions in our home county of Kent and we work through the city of London. Our target demographic for the provision of commercial cleaning is anywhere within the South East.

Daily Cleaning Service

So Clean will deploy professional trained cleaning operatives in smart, presentable, branded clothing and in branded vehicles. On a daily basis, we provide a professional cleaning services for businesses and our cleaners will perform the following list of duties. This is not an exhaustive list and is an idea of what we do:
